Job summary

Fairfield Clearwater in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the Maintenance Team. The property features 127 renovated rooms and is part of Buffalo Lodging Associates’ portfolio. The role involves upkeep of the hotel, assisting the Chief Engineer, and flexible weekend/holiday coverage.

The position requires basic repair work, painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and pool operations. You’ll work with a team dedicated to safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of mechanic experience in a hotel or a related field.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, lift, push, carry and pull up to 75 lbs. Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repair work, painting, wall covering, plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Maintain pool operations and service areas per state/local regs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and upkeep of indoor/outdoor spaces and fixtures.
• Keep log books and maintenance records as required by the brand and hotel.
