Job summary

The Plamondon Companies are seeking a part-time Maintenance technician for the Courtyard Hagerstown property. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and safety-related tasks on a Hospitality-Hotel environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining logs. Certification in pool operation and ServSafe is preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency and a technical background preferred.
• At least 2 years of related hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface prep, and painting.
• Certified pool operator and ServSafe certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment, plumbing and electrical components.
• Install, maintain, and repair items as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document in the system.
• Conduct daily property walk-throughs for immediate issues.
• Maintain maintenance areas, inventory, and logs.
• Keep pool operations compliant with health dept. regulations.
