Job summary

The Courtyard is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service hotel areas and assets to high quality standards. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems (including HVAC and electrical), perform preventative maintenance, conduct regular inspections and help keep the property within budget.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety and compliance, managing parts inventory, completing work orders, assisting with building repairs, and documenting daily activity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance or engineering experience, preferably in a hotel establishment.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred or similar maintenance experience in large facilities.
• Basic ability to read prints, schematics, and equipment operation instructions.
• Maintenance or building trades experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel assets and mechanical systems to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, facilities and systems (HVAC and electrical).
• Perform preventative maintenance and regular inspections; diagnose problems.
• Operate within hotel budget and comply with safety policies.
• Fill out daily paperwork and maintain organized records.
• Assist with building repairs and complete work orders as needed.
• Follow purchasing procedures with approved suppliers.
• Assist other engineers with repairs.
