Job summary

The Courtyard hotel is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain hotel areas and assets to a high quality standard. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems (including HVAC and electrical), perform preventative maintenance and inspections, and operate within the hotel budget.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety and compliance, managing parts inventory, completing work orders, assisting other engineers, and documenting daily activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance or engineering experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Basic reading of prints, schematics and equipment operations instructions.
• Experience in maintenance or building trades preferred.
• Must be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire Safety policies.
• Develop and follow up action plans from technical visits and audits.
• Operate and maintain hotel mechanical systems (domestic water, hot water, chilled water, pool).
• Maintain parts inventory, label and shelve items, log usage and warranty data.
• Complete work orders and assist other engineers as needed.
• Keep work area safe and organized, store tools and materials properly.
