Job summary

Texas Hotel Management is seeking a dependable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team in Houston. You will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and restaurant facilities to ensure safety and peak functionality.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in hotel maintenance or building engineering and working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or building engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance across the property, including guest rooms, public areas, and equipment rooms.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, ensuring prompt issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical problems.
• Assist with general carpentry, painting, and property upkeep as needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe order and report major repairs to Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel maintenance policies.
