The ideal candidate will perform housekeeping-related upkeep, manage equipment and preventive maintenance, and stay on-call for emergencies to support guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans carpets and upholstered furniture using appropriate equipment.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, and restrooms to maintain cleanliness.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and waxes floors; vacuums and polishes as needed.
• Dusts and polishes metalwork and fixtures.
• Collects soiled linen from housekeeping carts for laundering.
• Assists in keeping guest hallways clean, neat, and free of debris.
• Keeps housekeeping carts stocked and maintains inventory of supplies.
• Creates open communication channels with managers and other staff; stays on-call for emergencies.
• Completes work orders promptly and collaborates with other technicians.
• Manages hotel machinery and oversees preventive maintenance procedures.
