Qualifications

• Ability to perform carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and respond to maintenance needs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to identify issues early
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment, building systems, and guest room facilities
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical problems using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools
• Complete carpentry, painting, patching, and general handyman work to maintain the property’s appearance and condition
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to support a safe and comfortable experience
• Maintain detailed records of repair work, maintenance activities, and parts used according to property procedures
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with upkeep of the exterior, interior, and common areas to maintain hotel standards
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping, front office, and management to prioritize tasks and complete projects on time
