Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back- and front-of-house areas. The role requires ensuring safe, efficient operation of hotel systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hotel maintenance experience, familiarity with door locks, and relevant certifications. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive experience in hotels, construction, general maintenance or related fields preferred.
• Experience with door lock systems and hotel equipment is preferred.
• Certifications as required by Federal, State or Local governing agents (HVAC, Pool Operation, etc).
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all work order policies and procedures.
• Maintain and repair equipment in laundry, kitchen, guestrooms, events areas, restaurants, offices and public spaces.
• Repair HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical fixtures to manufacturer specs.
• Maintain work areas clean and organized.
• Replace light bulbs and perform cosmetic repairs as assigned.
• Contribute to life-safety inspections and safety standards compliance.
• Attend meetings and required trainings.
• Remain familiar with operation manuals and warranty agreements.
