Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the property’s equipment functioning and guest rooms in good repair. You will perform repairs, routine maintenance, and preventive checks while maintaining a safe, clean work area and coordinating with management and vendors.

The role requires English proficiency, basic math, and the ability to follow the Green Shield Binder procedures. A high school diploma or GED is required, and weekly pay is provided along with comprehensive

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and company guidelines and standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Use units of measurement for weight, volume and distance.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist with resolving guest issues in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property equipment and keep premises in pristine condition.
• Respond to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance as outlined in the Green Shield Binder.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Maintain organized and clean maintenance areas and inventory.
