Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to keep our property safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for guests. You will handle repairs across plumbing, electrical systems, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HVAC while performing light carpentry and painting.

You will help enforce safety programs and maintain thorough records. We value proactive maintenance, teamwork, and excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across multiple systems.
• Ability to dismantle equipment to repair/replace components.
• Knowledge of water chemistry and pool maintenance.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HVAC.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair.
• Implement and monitor safety and regulatory compliance programs.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to guest experience with courteous service.
