Job summary

Drury Plaza Milwaukee seeks a Maintenance Tech I to ensure a safe, well-running hotel property, handling repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and equipment.

You will develop and monitor safety programs, maintain detailed records, provide ongoing training to team members, and collaborate with management to meet department needs, ultimately delivering exceptional guest experiences with a friendly, service-driven attitude.

Qualifications

• Must maintain advanced maintenance abilities across hotel systems.
• Ability to train Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, testing, and filtration.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting and HVAC systems.
• Develop and monitor safety programs ensuring ergonomic and injury-prevention compliance.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I staff.
• Collaborate with management to recruit, interview, and schedule department needs.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences with friendly service.
