The role requires flexibility for varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and on-call emergencies. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a guest-focused service mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1–3+ years of maintenance, repair, or general handyman experience in hospitality or commercial setting.
• Travel: No travel required; position is property-based.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Replace or repair fixtures, fittings, and basic equipment as needed.
• Assist in ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests.
• Maintain a courteous and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests.
• Assist in maintaining HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Support senior maintenance staff with more complex repairs as needed.
