Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support general hotel upkeep and preventative maintenance. The role involves assisting with electrical checks, minor and major repairs, pool care, exterior maintenance, and refurbishing furniture to uphold high-quality standards.

You will work closely with hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and smooth operations across all areas, including guest rooms, kitchens, and public spaces.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Capable of lifting 25–50 lbs.
• Communicate progress of work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders (e.g., replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl).
• Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Assist in checking electrical systems and minor repairs.
• Assist in major repairs of hotel equipment including HVAC, plumbing, and appliances.
• Service the pool and maintain chemical levels and filters; log maintenance requests.
