Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA is seeking a General Maintenance professional. The role supports engineering operations, preventive maintenance, and asset protection to uphold guest satisfaction and property integrity.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, maintenance experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Training and advancement are supported within the company’s team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required. CPO, and appliance repair certification is desired, or the ability to obtain certification based on property needs.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience is preferred. Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate the ability to maintain property assets, preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Respond to guest requests with high level of service and knowledge of hotel property.
• Identify concerns and provide maintenance solutions in collaboration with managers.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work as a team with other departments.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and adhere to attendance and department policies.
