Job summary

OTH Hotels Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, upkeep, and perform preventive maintenance on hotel facilities, guest rooms, and equipment. You will ensure that building systems operate safely and efficiently, supporting a comfortable environment that enhances the guest experience.

This role involves hands-on maintenance throughout the property, with a fast-paced hotel environment requiring reliability, technical ability, and a guest-centric service mindset.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1–3+ years of maintenance, repair, or general handyman experience required, preferably in a hospitality or commercial environment.
• Travel required: No travel required; position is property-based.
• Physical requirements listed: Frequent walking, standing, bending, etc.
• Certifications: Technical or trade certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Replace or repair fixtures, fittings, and basic equipment as needed.
• Assist in ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks on schedule.
• Inspect guest rooms and facilities to identify maintenance issues early.
• Report major issues or system failures to supervisors promptly.
• Support upkeep of accurate maintenance records as required.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests.
• Complete repairs efficiently while minimizing guest disruption.
• Maintain a courteous and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests.
