Job summary

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group in Germantown, MD, is hiring a Maintenance/Engineering professional to support hotel operations.

You will assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and asset protection, while delivering high guest service and following SOPs. Responsibilities include learning preventive maintenance, assisting the Chief Engineer, handling guest room repairs, and collaborating with other departments to maintain property assets safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CPO and appliance repair certification is desired, or ability to obtain certification based on property needs.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred; detail-oriented, customer focused, able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds; EEO AA M/F/Vet/Disabled

Responsibilities

• Maintains property assets and supports preventive maintenance with the Chief Engineer.
• Assists guests with requests in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Identifies concerns and provides maintenance solutions for hotel assets.
• Follows SOPs and collaborates with the engineering team and other departments.
• Keeps work area safe and compliant with procedures and regulations.
• Attends required department and hotel meetings and manages time effectively.
