Job summary

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a maintenance professional to support engineering operations at our hotel properties in Gaithersburg, MD. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and asset protection while upholding high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Work with the Chief Engineer, follow SOPs, and collaborate across departments to ensure safe, efficient operations. Strong physical stamina and customer-focused attitude preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CPO certification and appliance repair certification desired or obtainable
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred with attention to detail and customer focus
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds; able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Engineering: maintain hotel property assets under guidance of Chief Engineer
• Guest service: respond to guest requests with friendly, high-level service
• Identify concerns and provide maintenance solutions for property assets
• Follow SOPs and procedures across engineering operations
• Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols
• Self-management: plan, prioritize, and attend required meetings
