Job summary

ESA Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Lombard property to ensure all equipment is functioning, premises kept pristine, and guest rooms are in good repair. You will follow Green Shield procedures and work with the management team to complete tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, repairs from work orders, and maintaining safety equipment. The role requires adherence to ESA policies and the ability to respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and company guidelines and standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Use units of measurement for weight, volume and distance.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist with resolving guest issues in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest and associate experience.
• Performs tasks with minimal supervision while meeting company standards.
• Responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Performs out-of-room cleaning to keep premises in pristine condition.
• Performs repairs listed on work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Completes preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as scheduled.
• Follows the Green Shield Schedule and uses SOPs to complete tasks per standards.
• Maintains organized maintenance areas and equipment inventories.
• Maintains boiler rooms, electric/HVAC/fire safety rooms per standards.
• Ensures fire safety equipment is operational and inspections are current.
• Complies with ESA safety and security policies (OSHA/ADA).
• Assists with pool/spa maintenance as applicable.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with management as needed.
• Monitors outside vendors as directed.
