Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Follow safety rules, manuals, and company standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic with various units.
• Use measurement units for weight, volume, and distance.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist with resolving guest issues per policy.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to guest experience and operates with minimal supervision.
• Responds to guest requests and follows through per guidelines.
• Performs out-of-room cleaning to keep premises pristine per Green Shield Binder.
• Performs repairs listed on work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Completes preventive maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined in the Binder.
• Maintains records such as PM deficiencies and logbooks per the Binder.
• Follows Green Shield workflow and SOPs to complete tasks to standards.
• Keeps maintenance areas organized and tools inventory safe and in good condition.
• Maintains boiler, electric, HVAC, and life-safety rooms per policy.
• Ensures fire safety equipment is operational and inspections are current.
• Supports safety policies (OSHA, ADA) and responds to emergencies when needed.
• Assists with cleaning other hotel areas as directed and supports overall cleanliness.
