Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is seeking a hotel maintenance professional for Portland Embassy Suites. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, guest room care, and timely work-order completion at the Portland property.

You will troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues, maintain pool systems, repair furnishings, and assist with landscaping. A 6-month maintenance background is preferred, with certifications a plus; ability to lift 25 lbs regularly is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
