Island Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment in a fast-paced property in Durham. You will work with minimal supervision, prioritize urgent calls, and participate in on-the-job training for Tech I staff.

The role supports preventative maintenance programs, safety compliance, and reporting during shifts. Flexible scheduling and emergency response readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced diagnostic and repair skills across HVAC/PTAC, plumbing, electrical, kitchen/laundry equipment.
• Strong initiative and teamwork with ability to handle emergencies.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance preferred (3–5 years).

Responsabilités

• Inspect, repair and maintain hotel systems and equipment.
• Complete basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and upkeep of floors.
• Monitor life-safety systems and maintain regulatory logs.
