Job summary

Island Hospitality Management, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to inspect, repair and maintain hotel systems and equipment. You will work with the Chief Engineer to keep buildings and common areas in optimal condition and follow safety guidelines; an online assessment may follow interviews.

The role requires advanced diagnostic and repair skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment, with ability to work independently and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced diagnostic and repair skills across HVAC/PTAC, plumbing, electrical systems and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and in potentially stressful situations.
• Experience with building safety compliance and regulatory logs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain hotel systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineer and management on technical projects.
• Complete basic maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring) and preventive programs.
• Prioritize urgent calls and respond to off-hours emergencies.
