Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of hotel systems and equipment. The role requires a practical mind, attention to detail, and the ability to work alone or in a team while following health and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate will handle basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpet and tile maintenance, support preventative maintenance programs, and assist with exterior upkeep. Flexible scheduling may be required.

• Physical stamina to lift and move items up to 70 pounds

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpet and tile maintenance
• Perform exterior upkeep and minor roof repairs as needed
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and report findings
• Prepare shift reports for management and assist with guest-related maintenance requests
