Job summary

LTD Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our hotel maintenance team in Chesapeake, VA. The role focuses on routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and prompt response to work orders to uphold high standards of cleanliness and repair across the property.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, knowledge of emergency procedures, and strong time management. The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a maintenance capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Ability to manage time to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance in guest rooms and throughout the hotel.
• Perform guest room preventive maintenance and general cleaning per guidelines.
• Respond to daily work orders.
• Assist housekeeping in house aide duties.
• Record and log work performed; store files and reports as required.
• Monitor progress and results through control systems.
• Address guest and associate requests and complaints promptly and efficiently.
• Comply with hotel and government procedures.
• Attend Continuous Improvement Meetings and adhere to SOPs.
• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
