Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold building systems and safety across the property. You will support preventative maintenance, basic repairs, and equipment servicing to ensure guest comfort and hotel performance.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry skills, with hospitality experience preferred. Physical fitness to lift 25–50 lbs and ability to follow safety guidelines is required.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing or Carpentry skills required.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (room care, tiles, fixtures).
• Inspect electrical systems and assist with minor repairs.
• Repair or replace hotel equipment including HVAC, boilers, pool, and plumbing.
• Service the hotel pool, adjust chemicals, and log maintenance.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and common areas.
• Move furniture as needed and respond courteously to guest inquiries.
