Job summary

The Harrison Group is a family-owned hospitality company operating hotels and restaurants across Ocean City, MD, Virginia Beach, NC, and Florida. We are seeking aMaintenance Technician to support building systems, electrical and HVAC maintenance, and general upkeep across our properties.

Qualified candidates will have proven maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, and the ability to perform hands-on repairs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC/building maintenance cert is a plus.
• CMRP certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels).
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (locks, windows).
• Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry).
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
