Job summary

HMP Properties, LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee grounds, building facilities and guest rooms at our Virginia property. Responsibilities include daily cleaning and upkeep, preventive maintenance, small repairs, and coordinating larger maintenance needs with the General Manager.

The role requires the ability to perform in a fast-paced hotel environment, follow safety guidelines, operate basic tools, and work with others to ensure a safe, welcoming lodging experience for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 3+ years hotel operations preferred.
• Experience in building and guest room maintenance preferred.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of grounds, building facilities and guest rooms.
• Perform preventive maintenance and small repairs.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Follow ESA operating guidelines and safety protocols.
