Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks an on-site Maintenance Engineer to perform preventative maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, equipment, and the physical plant, FF&E, grounds and pool.

You will follow safety procedures, document maintenance activities, support other engineering staff, and ensure a clean, safe, and high-appearance property for guests around the clock.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Recognize potential safety hazards and act accordingly.
• Able to listen, speak, read and write English clearly for guest and team interactions.
• Flexible to shifts and able to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Experience with basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical hotel systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a schedule basis.
• Maintain pool chemistry, filters, logs, and related records.
• Care for building exterior, curb appeal, landscaping and grounds.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
