Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to handle preventative and routine repairs of mechanical and electrical systems across the property. The role includes pool maintenance, exterior upkeep, and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing and electrical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and supporting other engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• High school diploma preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical/electrical malfunctions in hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on schedule (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool area and performs pool chemical adjustments.
• Maintains building exterior and grounds.
• Adheres to company policies and safety procedures.
• Assists other engineering personnel as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
