Job summary

Fairmont Dallas is seeking a House Engineer/General Maintenance Supervisor to oversee Engineering operations, maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will participate in the preventive maintenance program and support daily hotel operations.

The role requires at least 2 years in engineering, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, and the ability to read gauges and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance operational problems and mechanical background.
• Knowledge of physics, and able to read gauges.
• Fluency in job related English, both verbal and non-verbal.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Engineering operations and maintain refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Participate in the hotel-wide preventive maintenance program.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.
• Train and coach team members; create task checklists and training plans.
• Organize materials, tools and equipment; manage work schedules.
