Job summary

Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott is seeking an experienced Hotel Engineer to ensure the facility remains in peak operating condition. You will oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems, and implement preventive maintenance for Rooms and Public Areas.

You will collaborate with hotel leadership, hire and coach staff, and uphold safety policies including OSHA HazCom and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

Previous hotel engineering experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and building systems.
State certification or licensure where required.
Ability to read drawings/blueprints and use test equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays.
Team-oriented with guest service focus.
Physical ability to lift 10–25 pounds.
Comfort with office environment tasks.

Responsibilities

Maintain hotel operations and meet all engineering standards.
Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance of structure, systems and equipment.
Manage Preventive Maintenance Program for Rooms and Public Areas.
Collaborate with hotel management and General Manager.
Hire, train, supervise, coach associates and managers.
Keep grounds maintained for a great guest arrival experience.
Enforce safety policies and OSHA HazCom and emergency procedures.
