Job summary

Harwood Hospitality Group in Dallas seeks an experienced Engineer II to oversee preventative maintenance of Commercial/Hotel equipment in line with ASRE/OSHA standards. You will maintain HVAC/R systems, operate the EMS, and complete preventive maintenance and reports while ensuring guest comfort and safety.

The role requires 6+ years in hotel engineering/maintenance, plus EPA/CFC universal certification and Pool certification.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with vocational background in refrigeration/AC.
• Trade/vocational school or apprenticeship in refrigeration/AC.
• EPA/CFC certification required; Pool certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all equipment and systems within the HVAC/R.
• Familiarity with the energy management system and field components.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and respective reports; complete assigned work orders.
• Respond to guest concerns using best practice procedures.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment including ceiling/suspended units; may require ladders or scaffolding.
• Maintain logs, manuals, and inventory of parts; manage safety data sheets (SDS).
