Job summary

Fairmont Dallas, part of Accor, is seeking a House Engineer/General Maintenance Supervisor to oversee engineering operations, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems. You will ensure compliance with safety codes and provide leadership to the engineering team.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem solving, and a proactive approach to guest comfort and safety in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Fluency in English (verbal and non-verbal).
• Ability to read gauges and interpret blueprints.
• Physical ability to perform tasks and lift items as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Engineering operations and facilities maintenance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance across hotel systems and equipment.
• Assist with kitchen, laundry, and other service areas as needed.
• Train and coach team members; schedule daily tasks and projects.
