Job summary

Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott is seeking an experienced Hotel Engineer to ensure the property runs smoothly, maintain building systems, and lead maintenance teams.

The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, with responsibility for preventive maintenance programs and safety policy implementation. Able to work varied shifts and collaborate with management to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel/large-building engineering operations.
• State certification or licensure where required.
• Ability to read drawings, diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong business communication (verbal & written).
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-oriented with guest-service mindset.
• Physical ability to lift 10–25 pounds; office/computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel is in great working order and meets operational standards.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance of building, systems and equipment.
• Maintain Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance records.
• Collaborate with hotel management and General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach and counsel associates.
• Keep grounds maintained for excellent guest arrivals.
• Implement safety and emergency policies per OSHA HazCom.
