Winter Park Resort is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a three-person team and partner with hotel operations to maintain The Vintage Hotel and grounds. You’ll supervise daily maintenance tasks, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation codes.

The role requires experience in building systems, a self-starter mindset, and strong collaboration with Front Desk and Housekeeping teams. Strong emphasis on safety and preventive maintenance.

Competenze

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems diagnosis and repair.
• Carpentry and finishing skills.
• Self-starter who makes decisions with little supervision.
• Clear written status updates and quick verbal check-ins.
• Ability to read blueprints and calculate dimensions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling.

Mansioni

• Directs technicians and contractors in all building maintenance work, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, masonry, pools and spas, painting, woodwork, and furnishings
• Creates detailed work orders, assigns work, and helps technicians troubleshoot problems
• Maintains OSHA compliance, leads safety training, and holds regular safety meetings
• Coordinates with other department supervisors to resolve issues quickly
• Stays on top of grounds maintenance, including snow removal, landscaping, and debris cleanup
• Prepares monthly maintenance reports and project funding requests for management
• Assists the Maintenance Manager in reviewing and interviewing top candidates, and trains all staff on building systems, maintenance practices, and safety procedures
• Assists management with long-term maintenance and capital project planning
• Manages monthly maintenance spending against budget to help meet year-end financial goals, and assists with labor and expense forecasting
• Tests building systems and performs preventive maintenance as required by regulations
• Performs the same work as technicians in addition to supervisory duties
• Other duties as assigned
