Job summary
Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a three-person team at Winter Park Resort Lodging, ensuring hotel operations and grounds upkeep. You will supervise technicians, coordinate with contractors, and maintain safety, quality, and efficiency across facilities.
The role requires strong leadership, HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and experience with maintenance planning and budgets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or technical program preferred.
- Minimum four years of related maintenance experience with at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems; carpentry skills; pool/spa experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; experience with work order systems.
Responsibilities
- Directs technicians and contractors in building maintenance and repair work.
- Assists in interviewing and training staff on building systems and safety.
- Creates detailed work orders and tracks progress and labor hours.
- Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory for uninterrupted operations.
- Prepares monthly reports and supports budget and safety initiatives.
