Job summary

Mauna Kea Beach Hotel seeks an MKR Engineering Maintenance Journeyman 1C to maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration and related systems across the resort. You will lead lower graded personnel, order parts, and ensure safety standards.

Knowledge of OSHA/HIOSHA, blueprints, and ability to work extended hours are required. Responsibilities include installation, servicing, and inspections, coordinating with vendors, and supporting special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Maintenance skilled in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, architectural and structural systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Experience leading and training other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, servicing, installation and inspection of trade equipment.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and air conditioning tasks.
