Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Repair representative to ensure hotel maintenance quality and safety standards are met. The role requires responding to guest needs, performing repairs, and coordinating with the team to keep rooms and public areas well-maintained.

You'll handle routine maintenance, follow preventative schedules, and help create a welcoming environment for guests. The position may involve varied shifts, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance or repair experience.
• High school diploma or related vocational training.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, building management software, or reporting tools like HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom.

Responsibilities

• Keep hotel operations running smoothly and maintain safety standards.
• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish guest rooms.
• Organize supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Follow safety guidelines and report incidents or unsafe equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of areas inside and outside the hotel.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance schedule and seek improvements.
• Be friendly and helpful to guests.
• Notify supervisor about low supplies and updates.
