Job summary

IHG is seeking a Maintenance Representative to keep hotel operations smooth and guest rooms in top condition. You’ll perform repairs, organize supplies, and uphold safety standards while engaging with guests in a friendly manner.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year maintenance experience, a high school diploma or vocational training, and familiarity with building management tools. Pool certification (CPO) is a plus. This on-site role requires physical fitness and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in maintenance or repair work.
• High school diploma or relevant vocational training.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and building management/reporting tools (HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, Inncom).
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and preventative maintenance.
• CPO certification is ideal if the hotel has a pool.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and bend/kneel frequently.
• Fluent in local language and compliant with local laws (food handling/alcohol).
• Strong communication and friendly guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish items in guest rooms.
• Organise supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day
• Maintain high safety standards – report incidents or unsafe conditions
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel
• Follow preventative maintenance calendar and keep equipment running efficiently
• Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests
• Inform supervisor about low running supplies
• Keep a smart and approachable appearance in uniform
• Be ready to take on extra duties as the team needs
