Job summary

VIPCor Hotel LLC DBA City Express Corvallis in Corvallis, Oregon seeks a Maintenance Manager/Engineer to lead the property's physical operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and guest comfort.

You will supervise technicians, manage building systems, and drive preventive maintenance while ensuring compliance with brand standards and local regulations.

This on-site role offers hands-on leadership, competitive benefits, and opportunities to optimize energy usage and lifecycle of hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive commercial building maintenance experience.
• HVAC/EPA Universal Certification and CPO preferred (or obtainable within 90 days).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance work orders across guest rooms, public spaces, and exteriors.
• Oversee operation and repair of HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
• Implement a Preventive Maintenance schedule for all areas.
• Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff and grounds staff.
• Solicit bids and manage third-party vendor contracts; inspect work.
• Keep records of inspections, life safety testing, and warranties.
• Lead fire safety, life safety drills, OSHA compliance, and SDS.
• Monitor energy usage and manage tool/part inventories and budgets.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies or alarms.
