Job summary

Colwen Hotels’ Sheraton Sable Oaks Portland property is seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day engineering efforts at the hotel. You will oversee electrical, HVAC, plumbing and safety compliance to keep the property safe and functional for guests and associates.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, hands-on technical skills and excellent communication, with 1–2 years of relevant experience in hotel maintenance; rotating shifts, on-call duties, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in day-to-day operation/maintenance of assigned hotel.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing) and equipment.
• Follow OSHA guidelines for safe working environment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance program.
• Review maintenance problems and prioritize work orders.
• Coordinate with vendors and inspect COIs.
• Schedule work and maintain logs.
• Assist with on-duty manager responsibilities.
