Job summary

IHG is seeking a maintenance associate to perform basic maintenance and deep cleaning of guest rooms and public areas. You will carry tools, prepare the worksite, and assist maintenance reps as needed.

Responsibilities include completing the preventative maintenance checklist, performing minor repairs, cleaning outdoor areas, providing guest shuttle service on request, and coordinating with other departments to ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance tasks in hotel environments.
• Ability to complete minor repairs (ceiling tiles, light bulbs, plumbing).
• Carry tools and prepare the worksite for maintenance work.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas daily.
• Follow safety policies and protect inventory and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sweep parking lot, pool, outdoor and sidewalk areas.
• Cut, prune, and maintain lawn and plants; report unsafe conditions.
• Provide guest shuttle service as requested and coordinate with departments.
• Respond courteously to guest questions to ensure satisfaction.
• May work nights, weekends, and holidays.
