Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking personnel to perform simple maintenance and cleaning in guest rooms, public areas, and grounds. The role involves basic repairs, deep cleaning, and assisting with minor tasks to keep facilities in excellent condition.

You will carry tools, prepare worksites, and support maintenance staff while ensuring guest questions are answered with courtesy. Since shifts vary across a 7-day period including weekends and holidays, applicants must be flexible and able to work

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Carrying, lifting or pushing 100–300 pounds.
• Frequently standing and moving about buildings and grounds.
• Working knowledge of basic non-skilled maintenance tasks (plunging toilets, changing light bulbs, replacing faucet washers).
• Working knowledge of lawn/plant care equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple maintenance and cleaning in guest rooms, public areas and grounds.
• Complete basic maintenance tasks and deep cleaning to keep areas in good condition.
• Assist with minor repairs and replacement tasks (ceiling tiles, light bulbs, etc.).
• Carry tools, prepare the worksite, and assist maintenance reps as needed.
• Respond to guest questions to ensure satisfaction.
• Promote teamwork and quality service across departments.
