HHM Hospitality is seeking an Engineer for our Culver City, CA property to perform preventative and repair maintenance, ensuring quality standards while guests are treated warmly.

You will inspect rooms, install fixtures, repair plumbing/electrical items, and maintain records, all while following safety codes and striving to improve guest satisfaction. Growth path exists within the engineering team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
• Prior engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures.
• Repair furniture.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Repair HVAC pumps and perform preventive maintenance on units.
• Trace and repair all types of water lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Work to local, state and Federal codes.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing satisfaction.
• Assist as bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Follow Service Recovery Guidelines.
• Practice safety and use MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
