Job summary

Hilton Los Angeles Culver City is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance to ensure the hotel meets quality and sustainability standards while guest satisfaction remains high.

Responsibilities include room inspections, basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, furniture repair, and maintaining safety and code compliance. The role may include bell attendant duties during peak periods to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance to ensure hotel meets quality and sustainability standards.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures.
• Repair furniture and repair kitchen equipment.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Maintain records of repair and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure work complies with local, state and Federal codes.
• Support guest satisfaction initiatives and service recovery guidelines.
• Assist as bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak check-in/out periods.
