Job summary

McKibbon Hospitality seeks an Assistant Maintenance Engineer to ensure the hotel’s operations run smoothly. You will support plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and pool systems, performing upkeep while minimizing guest disruption.

You bring hands-on trades experience, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and pool maintenance, with safety as a priority and strong communication with team leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in maintenance-type role, preferably hotel/apartment.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and preventative methods.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and pool systems.
• Perform general facility upkeep to ensure guest safety and comfort.
• Follow safety protocols and keep tools organized.
• Be the point of contact for maintenance in the absence of the Chief Maintenance Engineer.
• Train others in basic engineering skills as needed.
