Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Hotel Engineer to maintain the property, equipment, and guest rooms, ensuring safety and high-quality guest experiences. This hands-on role requires troubleshooting, strong practical skills, and commitment to standards.

The ideal candidate can perform preventative maintenance, diagnose repairs, and respond to maintenance requests across the hotel, while upholding safety procedures and supporting on-call needs as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotel maintenance preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to read safety instructions and maintenance manuals.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-call emergencies.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per hotel schedules and brand standards.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hotel equipment, guest rooms, and public areas.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and mechanical repairs.
• Respond to guest room maintenance requests with professional service.
• Maintain appearance and functionality of guest rooms, corridors, meeting spaces, and exterior areas.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical systems, boilers, HVAC, lighting, and appliances.
