Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Hotel Engineer to maintain the hotel’s property, equipment, and guest rooms to ensure safety and comfort for guests. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and timely response to maintenance requests across the property.

Ideal candidates will have experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs efficiently.
• Strong attention to safety, quality standards, and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance requests hotel-wide.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, guest rooms, and public areas.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and mechanical tasks.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and assist with after-hours needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and hotel standards.
