Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Hotel Engineer to maintain the hotel's physical property, equipment, and guest rooms, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and exceptional guest experience.

The role involves hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs, with a focus on safety and high standards. The incumbent will work with outside vendors as needed and handle after-hours maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or building maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently.
• Comfort with physical tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per schedules and brand standards.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hotel equipment and spaces.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Respond to guest room maintenance requests with professional service.
• Maintain appearance and functionality of guest rooms, corridors, meeting spaces, and exterior areas.
• Monitor and service mechanical equipment, boilers, HVAC systems, and lighting.
