Job summary

Midas Hospitality seeks a reliable Hotel Engineer / Maintenance Engineer to maintain the property, equipment, and guest rooms for a safe, comfortable guest experience. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and adherence to safety and brand standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair techniques, and a flexible schedule including weekends and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related trade.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose repair needs across the hotel.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, guest rooms, and public areas.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and mechanical repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests while delivering courteous service.
• Maintain logs, work orders, and documentation; coordinate with vendors when needed.
• Ensure OSHA safety procedures and hotel standards are met.
